10th May Results
ATLAS BALLERS ON COURT.
Sunday, 10 May 2026  ·  Week 11  ·  Malaysia Premier Basketball League (MPBL)
Match Day Summary
HOW WE GOT ON.
Six teams. Six battles. Here's the full rundown from Sunday, 10 May 2026 — for every player, parent and supporter who was there and those who couldn't make it.
U12B Fastbreak Black 52 – 25 Atlas U12B L

A challenging afternoon against a physical Fastbreak Black side. Our U12s competed hard and every game at this level is building something. Keep working — the development journey continues.

U14B Atlas U14 Team 2 29 – 21 Fastbreak Orange W

A composed, controlled performance. Atlas U14 Team 2 dictated the tempo and never looked back — eight points the final margin. They've earned their spot in the Semifinals.

U14B Atlas U14 Team 1 12 – 45 Synergy L

Synergy are a strong side — physically large and mature boys operating at the upper end of the U14 age bracket. That combination is a tough ask for any team to match on the day. The scoreline reflects the physical gap, not the effort. We can coach skills. We cannot coach physical build or age. Our boys competed, and that is what matters. The development will come.

U16G Dreaminder 30 – 37 Atlas U16 Girls W

This one had everything stacked against them — and they won anyway. Eight players against Dreaminder's thirteen. A mid-game injury to star player Makayla. Officiating that, to put it diplomatically, could have gone better. And yet, the girls dug in, found another gear in the fourth quarter, and pulled away to seal it.

Irene was a force on the boards, winning possession when it mattered most. Makayla, injury and all, kept delivering — hitting from three and attacking the basket when her team needed her. And to the rest of the girls: the way you worked from the sideline, moved the ball, and kept finding your key scorers — that is team basketball. Every one of you contributed to this win.

If you can win under those conditions, you can win in a Semifinal. See you Sunday.

U18B Atlas A 89 – 20 Atlas B W

An all-Atlas affair, and a result that was always going to go one way. To expect the B side to topple the Elite squad is not a realistic ask — and there is no shame in that. Atlas A controlled the scoreboard from the opening tip and never let up, running out 89–20 winners in a performance that was as complete as the margin suggests.

What made it more impressive: Benny Ong and Castle Tee did not play. The depth of the Atlas A programme absorbed two key absences without breaking stride. That is the mark of a squad, not just a starting five.

To Atlas B — competing against your own club's elite side is never easy, but you showed up. That experience will count. To Atlas A — Semifinals await. Now it gets serious.

U16B Atlas U16 Team 1 34 – 43 Sonic L

The biggest heartbreak of the day — and also one of the most encouraging performances. Our U16 Team 1, a group made up mostly of boys born in 2010 and 2011, went toe-to-toe with a Sonic side largely born in 2009. A year or two at this age is a significant physical difference, and yet offensively, our boys matched them completely. The final margin came down to a few defensive breakdowns driven by sheer physicality — not effort, not attitude. Every single one of them defended as hard as they could.

Individual shoutouts are earned today. Wey King — great to see you getting more assertive close to the rim, keep that up. Zac — born in 2012 and holding his own against boys two and three years older. Remarkable. Preston — smaller in stature, zero shortage of grit. And Isa — the glue that kept the squad together when it mattered. That is leadership.

This result stings because the boys deserved more from it. But a performance like this, against older opposition, tells us exactly where this group is heading.

3 Wins  ·  3 Losses  ·  3 Teams into Semifinals

To every player who took to the court today — win or lose, you represented Atlas Ballers with effort and that matters. To our parents and supporters who gave up their Sunday to be there: thank you. These kids notice.
