The Atlas Ballers U16 Boys have booked their place in the final of the Shelter Hoops Tournament after a decisive 79–53 semi-final win over LCMBA today.
It was another strong performance from the team, who have built real momentum over the course of the tournament. The semi-final result follows two dominant group-stage victories earlier in the week:
4 June: Atlas Ballers defeated SS15 105–26
5 June: Atlas Ballers defeated Triple Threat Basketball 116–46
The run to the final has shown the team’s scoring depth, defensive intensity, and ability to sustain pressure across multiple games. After opening the tournament with a loss to Sonic Basketball on 3 June, the boys responded strongly, putting together three convincing wins to earn another shot at the same opponent.
Atlas Ballers will now face Sonic Basketball in the final, with the opportunity to complete a strong tournament campaign and show how far the team has progressed since that first meeting.
